Hands Held Stronger

The year 2020 brought about a multitude of emotions for all of us due to the pandemic. These feelings and sacrifices inspired OCEEDEE to design Valentine’s 2021 collection “The Dance of Touch”.

Through the collection, we bring to you the stories of the ones who extended their arms when we were sinking. The stories of their vulnerabilities and braveries, their fears and courage.

We honor and celebrate the warriors who sailed us through the tough times of 2020 and planted seeds of hope for a better future.

1. Vibhuti Bansal

Vibhuti Bansal, an 18-year-old girl, who along with her friends created a drive to raise funds and donate PPE kits to hospitals in and around Delhi.

2. Radha Sharma

ASI Radha Sharma, a brave and ferocious policewoman, who despite testing Covid positive, stood strong and fulfilled her duties.

3. Dr. Neelam Sachdeva

Dr. Neelam, who not only performed her duties as a doctor but also held counselling sessions for her patients and their relatives, giving them more information about the pandemic and the ways to handle the situation.

4. Uma Yadav

Mrs. Uma Yadav, a civilian who went out of her way to help Covid patients deal with the situation in a better manner.

To celebrate the strength and sense of duty of our warriors, we hand delivered a small token of appreciation which included a foot scrub, scented candles and a box of muffins made by Chef Nandita. We wholeheartedly thank them for their selflessness and constant touch of support.
