The Offcut Project
We kickstarted the month with the launch of The Offcut Project where we shared insights to how we at OCEEDEE do our bit to reduce the leather waste that ends up in landfills. Our Production Manager, Mr. Tejbir sat down with us to help us understand how the nesting process works and the spare space on the leather hide can be consciously put to use to make smaller components of the shoe. And as Oceedee's unique identity is innovative and novel designs, one of the ways the offcut leather is repurposed is in prototyping of new designs.
