1. Coco Chanel

The ever-famous designer and the founder of the brand, Chanel has been a pioneer in the industry. Coco Chanel used material retained for underwears in her collections. 2. Marlene Dietrich

Marlene Dietrich was a German star who explored different sides and styles of fashion. Her androgynous outfits made her stand apart from the other leading stars of her time. She was the first woman to have worn a tuxedo for a shoot in the early 1930s and also donned ties, blazers, as well as midi skirts and fur coats in several other photoshoots.
